Do not be overthrown by the expression, “propelling faith.” It is simply defined as being driven, having a cause to move forward or onward, or an urgent need to drive forward when the pressure is released.
This is clearly illustrated in a propelled horsepower driven aircraft. It is a measure of the power actually available for driving a propeller, after all wasted energy is deducted, and forced to keep moving, as a propeller is obliged to spin in a wind-driven device that provides mechanical energy on the nose of an aircraft.
Faith is a force that automatically “kicks in” when things in the natural seem to be positioned or tilted in a downward spiral. In everyday life, there is one of two forces that will motivate an individual - the force of faith or the force of fear.
I Corinthians 5:7 reads, “For we walk by faith; not by sight.”
“God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind,” I Timothy 1:7.
“But without faith, it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and the He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him,” Hebrews 11:6.
Let me submit to you that, “Propelling Faith” is an inner fortitude; the drive that compels, even challenges one to continue moving, despite the circumstances.
“For my heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord; my heart is established; I shall not be afraid,” Psalm 112:7-8
